EGW CEO Retires

Buffalo, NY – EGW Associates, Inc. announces the retirement of Chief Executive Officer Thomas R. Wach, effective May 12, 2017.

Mr. Wach, a Buffalo-area native, graduated from Canisius College and joined EGW in 1980. In his 37-year career, Mr. Wach has helped many WNY companies of all sizes and industries improve their hiring through the use of EGW’s strategic hiring solutions. Many of whom remain active clients today. Throughout his tenure he never wavered in his commitment to integrity and ethics in his business dealings. This is reflected in his many awards, including Junior Achievement’s Bronze Leadership Award in 2005 and the 2011 BEAM Charles Campbell Sr. Outstanding Service Award. Mr. Wach was also an active volunteer in the community supporting Junior Achievement, the Finance Academies of Orchard Park and West Seneca High Schools, BEAM and many more. When not working or volunteering you can find him spending time with his family, hunting, golfing, or playing ice hockey.

Mr. Wach will remain a co-owner and board member of the firm along with his 3 brothers and father. Jeff Wach, the company’s President since 2012, will remain President and continue to manage the company’s operations. EGW wishes Tom all the best in his new ventures!
